L. PLACEBO was a french, egyptian, croatian, hungarian & german music group active from 1992-1996, fronted by Singer & Songwriter ZIAD RAGHEB.
The Band was founded in NICE, FRANCE by ZIAD RAGHEB (Vocals & Guitar), ROLAND VUSKOVIC (Drums), ERNÖ KISS (Keyboards), ATTILA KISS (Harps & Percussion) & MATHIAS NEUHAUSER (Bass).
L. PLACEBO incorporates an incredible mix of musical styles such as, Hip Hop, Acid Jazz, Soul, Reggae, Ska, Latin, Blues, French Chanson, Rockabilly & Experimental Rock.
The songs are mostly in English & French and feature some guest singers & musicians such as the incredible soul singer FREDA GOODLETT
(USA & Switzerland) on the track "Refreshment".
L. Placebo's band-setup included a Brass Section (Saxophone, Trumpet & Trombone) as well as guest musicians like Norman Thelen (USA & Germany) on guitar.
